The Playgroup program is for children between 1.6 years to 2.6 years of age. Ankuram Preschool advances each child’s growth and development through a rich and well prepared environment. This program is planned for children before they start their formal education. Children are taught in such a way that their learning abilities are enhanced. Specified techniques through play way methods are used to improve their language skills and analytical skills. It also has a positive effect on the behavioural aspect of the child’s personality.

The classroom is a special place for the young child to begin his or her steps towards independence and self –reliance. Dedicated, nurturing and trained teachers implement a child friendly curriculum to foster cognitive development, speech and language development, strengthen fine and gross motor skills and promote independence. The Playgroup program recognizes that children learn by doing.

Classroom materials used are attractive, safe and geared for the child’s success. The activities are changed regularly in response to children’s need for variety and challenge as they grow and learn. The safe, loving gentle atmosphere puts children and parents at ease and make for a trusting spontaneous transition to school and develop a lifelong love of learning in our beautiful nurturing environment.
