All children are naturally curious and we at Ankuram Preschool encourage their curiosity by providing them with the assurance, confidence and willingness to try and try again. In our Nursery Program, your child will have the freedom and time to explore and discover new things. In doing so, we develop their problem solving skills, create a ‘never give up’ attitude and nurture a life, love for learning.

The curriculum designed for the Nursery children aims to builds confidence and independence through hands-on Math, Science, the Arts and language learning. At this level, children spend time in pairs or small groups engaged in specific projects learning to work and share as part of a team. The focus in Nursery program is on social skill development, self -help and language development, academic skills such as the concept of counting, recognition of colours and shapes are introduced. Children are exposed to a variety of pre-reading activities in fun, age and developmentally- appropriate methods.

Picnics and field trips enhance students understanding of their surroundings. Celebrations of festivals sensitizes them to multiple traditions and cultures.
